As your ingredient database grows, finding a specific ingredient by scrolling or searching by name alone gets slower. The new filtering options let you narrow your list down by the exact criteria you care about.
Where to Find It
Go to your Ingredients page. Click the Filters button in the top right, next to the search bar.
How to Use It
Click Filters to open the full set of options.
Choose from any of the following:
Database
Nutrients amounts

Click Apply Filters.
Why This Helps as Your Database Grows
Before this update, the only way to find an ingredient was searching by name, which meant scrolling or guessing at exact spelling once your list grew past a handful of items. Teams managing hundreds of custom ingredients, or working across multiple suppliers and product lines, felt this the most.
Filters can be combined, so you're not limited to searching one attribute at a time. Looking for every custom ingredient tagged with a specific allergen from one supplier, added after a certain date, all of that can be narrowed down in a single search instead of several.
This makes recurring tasks faster too, things like pulling every ingredient tied to a specific supplier ahead of an audit, or reviewing everything containing a particular allergen before a recipe change. What used to mean scrolling through your whole list now takes a few clicks.
As your ingredient database keeps growing, this filtering becomes more valuable, it's built to scale with how much you're managing, not just how things looked when your list was small.
