How to Compare Ingredients Using the Ingredient Comparison Report
The Ingredient Comparison report allows you to compare different ingredients side-by-side. This is especially useful when you want to evaluate custom ingredients against ingredients in the Food Label Maker database.
By comparing ingredients, you can better understand nutritional differences and make more informed decisions when formulating recipes or creating nutrition labels.

How to Access the Ingredient Comparison Report
To open the Ingredient Comparison feature:
Go to Custom Reports in the main menu.
Click Ingredient Comparison.
How to Compare Ingredients
Open the Ingredient Comparison report.
Select up to three ingredients to compare.
Ingredients can be selected from:
The Food Label Maker ingredient database
Your custom ingredients
Add the ingredients to the comparison view.
Once selected, the report will display a side-by-side comparison including:
Calories
Macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, fat)
Vitamins and minerals
Allergen information
Supplier information (if available)
Ingredient cost (if available)
