Setting up a new recipe is the first step in creating accurate nutrition labels and managing your recipes efficiently. Follow this guide to complete the Recipe Setup Page with all the necessary details.


1. Enter Basic Recipe Details

🔹 Recipe Name

Choose a name that clearly identifies your recipe.

🔹 Recipe Code (Optional)

Assign a unique recipe code to help easily track and identify your recipe in your system.

🔹 Number of Packages

Specify the number of packages your recipe makes.

📌 Example:

  • If a recipe batch creates 800g of cereal and is divided into 8 packages of 100g each, enter 8 packages.

🔹 Servings Per Package

Define how many servings are in each package of your product.

2. Choose a Recipe Category

Select a predefined category that best fits your recipe.

✅ You can also create a custom category from the My Profile Page to better organize your recipes.


3. Suggested Serving Size (Optional)

The suggested serving size represents the common household measurement for a single serving.

📌 Examples:

  • 1 slice of bread

  • 3 cups of popcorn

  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter

  • 6 pieces of sushi

  • 10 fl oz of juice

💡 If left blank, the system will default to displaying the serving size in grams.


Finalizing Your Recipe Setup

Once all details are entered, you’re ready to add ingredients and continue building your recipe!
