Ingredient Not Found: If specific ingredients are missing from the database, ensure you’ve searched with alternative spellings or regional terms. If unavailable, you can create custom ingredients
Errors in Nutritional Calculations: Double-check entered values for typing errors and ensure measurement units are correctly added. Make sure your serving size aligns with the RACC or Reference Size for your maket
Managing Variations: For multiple product variations, ensure each flavor or size has individually tailored labels by duplicating and modifying recipes in the platform.
By following these steps, you can create accurate and compliant nutrition labels for a wide variety of products, whether you have the ingredient list or just the nutritional data.
Creating Labels for Product Variations
Product variations, such as different flavors or sizes, require unique labels to address differences in ingredients or serving sizes. Accurately creating labels for variations ensures compliance and provides clarity for consumers.
Handling Different Flavors
Each flavor of a product may have different ingredients, requiring a specific label.
For example, a chocolate flavor may have more sugar than a vanilla version, affecting nutritional information.
Use Food Label Maker to create separate labels for each flavor by customizing recipes for specific ingredients.
Managing Size-Based Label Variations
Packaging sizes can influence serving sizes and total servings, impacting the label.
Duplicate your recipe in Food Label Maker and adjust parameters (e.g., portion size or servings) to reflect size variations.
Generate distinct labels for single-serving and multi-serving packages to maintain accuracy.
