How to Enter Container Size and Serving Information for Nutrition Labels
When creating or customizing nutrition labels in Food Label Maker, precise input of information such as container size and serving details is crucial for accuracy. Below are the steps and tools you can use:
1. Inputting Container Size or Total Weight
You do not need to manually enter the container size (e.g., 12 oz) as a separate value. Instead:
Add all ingredients and their respective amounts in the Recipe Builder tool.
The total weight will be calculated automatically based on the ingredient data you provide.
If adjustments are required due to moisture loss, processing changes, or other factors, use the Recipe Yield Adjustment feature to align the final yield accordingly.
2. Entering the Number of Servings
To specify servings for your product, you can do this in the recipe setup page
Enter the total number of servings included in the package into the designated “Number of Servings” field.
For example, if your package contains 12 servings, input ‘12’ in this field. This ensures the nutritional data is correctly calculated and displayed.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your nutrition labels are accurate and comply with labeling requirements.
