Benefits

Improve Profitability – Make data-driven pricing decisions.
Save Time – Automate calculations and reduce manual work.
Stay Competitive – Quickly adjust to ingredient price changes.

Enhance Cost Accuracy – Determine precise costs for individual portions to refine pricing strategies.

How to Get Started

  1. Input the Serving Size:

    • Begin your recipe setup by specifying the serving size. For example, if the serving size is 80g, enter this value in the relevant field. The tool will initially calculate costs assuming the entire recipe equals one package.

  2. Enter Number of Packages and Servings:

    • To refine your recipe costing, input both the number of packages and the number of servings in the recipe setup. This ensures the tool accurately distinguishes between costs per portion and per package.

  3. Calculate Number of Packages:

    • Determine how many packages your recipe yields by dividing the total recipe yield by the net weight per package. For example, if your total yield is 960g and your desired package size is 240g, your recipe yields 4 packages.

  4. Automatic Cost Calculation:

    • Once you update these setup parameters, the Food Label Maker tool will automatically adjust and display the per-portion cost alongside the per-package cost.
